What is the difference between the Gen Y BOSS and Mega Duty?
The BOSS Torsion Flex includes a built-in torsion dampening system that absorbs some of the jolts during towing. The Mega Duty is a more straightforward adjustable drop hitch without the torsion feature. Both are adjustable for height.
Do Gen Y hitches work with Australian tow bars?
Gen Y hitches are designed for receiver-style tow bars. The Australian Tongue adapter and reducer bushes are available to ensure compatibility with common Australian tow bar configurations. Check the receiver size on your vehicle before ordering.
Can I use a Gen Y hitch with a DO35 coupling?
Gen Y hitches use a ball mount system, not a pin coupling. If your trailer has a DO35 or DO45 coupling, you would need a DO35 or DO45 hitch kit from Cruisemaster instead.
